Today’s musings (‘\u03c9’<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What beautiful autumn weather we had over that three-day weekend! I hope everyone got to enjoy some nice rides on their bikes and had a great time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for me, I was naturally swamped with work. I was running around like crazy with bikes coming in and going out.
In between, I was thinking “maybe I’ll take a quick ride on the bike,” but right in the middle of setting up a parts machining job, the cutting tool reached the end of its life and broke.
But I really did breathe a sigh of relief thinking, “I’m so glad it broke during this prep stage and not during the actual work or right before the deadline!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of which, cutting tools like carbide end mills and inserts have gotten noticeably more expensive lately, which is kind of shocking. When I’m staring at catalogs trying to figure out “which balance of durability and cost is the right choice,” time just melts away (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this week I’m finally going to pick up the long-awaited “chickens”! I’m incredibly excited, but I’m also running around like crazy with the final preparations for their arrival. I’m trying to minimize the daily work involved, so I’m really digging into the structure of feeders and automatic waterers, and it’s so much fun I can’t stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether it’s bike setup, tool selection, or chicken-raising systems, maybe humans are ultimately creatures that love spending time puzzling over “what if this, what if that” and coming up with solutions(\u00b4\u03c9\uff40<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is it “getting risky”? (Oil-cooled time bomb):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Internal wire breakage from heat (hot stall):<\/strong> Located at the right end of the crankshaft, it’s constantly exposed to the intense heat of the oil cooling, causing the ultra-fine windings and molded resin inside to degrade thermally. It starts fine when cold, but when it warms up it suddenly misfires and stalls, and won’t restart until it cools down\u2014the worst possible symptom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Grommet hardening causing oil leaks:<\/strong> The rubber gasket where the harness exits the crankkcasecase becomes rock-hard plastic, triggering oil seepage and leaks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. OEM parts supply and discontinuation countdown:<\/strong> Suzuki’s oil-cooled parts are getting pricier and discontinued year by year, so this is the top-priority part to replace while it’s still available.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
