My recent concern is equipment investment.
Should I invest in equipment or not? Should I not or should I? I’ve reached that age.

Before my motivation gets heavy, should I swing while it’s light? It might be quietly important.
“Someday” never actually comes, does it?
Our shop also has what I’d call a self-proclaimed wet blast-like item, but? However?

This product has a nice, somewhat reasonable design
but the manufacturer has gone out of business and it’s become difficult to obtain small parts.
*I do have some in stock though.
Using wet blast, I’ve painfully realized that “the size of the box and output power is extremely important.”
Currently, when it comes to wet blast “Cocotte” <\/a><\/strong> or “Reborn” <\/a><\/strong> I think it comes down to these two choices.

Over the past few days, I’ve done thorough patrols and gathered quite a bit of information.
Based on the wide range of options and abundant information available, “Reborn” <\/a><\/strong> I’ve settled on the “Reborn Square” <\/p>\n\n\n

Just having a wet blast makes the finish dramatically different <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For finishing aluminum parts cleanly, it’s the most efficient method.
It doesn’t have much power to remove anodizing or paint,
but for finishing light rust or aluminum corrosion, it’s very efficient.

For example, with large parts, you can somehow manage to polish them with a wire brush,
but processing complex shapes by hand is time-consuming.
With a wet blast, such processing becomes easy to do,
saving time and significantly improving the finish.

When assembling, it feels good to work with clean parts.
Customers are happy when the finished bike looks clean too.
If it’s finished cleanly, you can charge accordingly,
so you can gradually recover your equipment investment and create a good environment all around. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The square shape maintains good processing capacity. When you set up the machine, it fits nicely.
And it’s really nice that it can handle long pieces.

Based on my experience using smaller wet blasts,
I think this size is the most suitable for bikes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While wet blasting,
the height and width that allow you to rotate and move things inside the chamber is crucial.
If it’s too narrow, you run into problems with things fitting or not fitting,
and then you can’t move things while processing them either.

The interior size is extremely important.
Since you can’t change the size later, I think it’s best to go bigger to be safe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can handle quite long pieces! I think you could probably process swing arms too. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Look at this size\u2014it’s incredible.
I felt it was designed with the user’s comfort in mind.
Yes, you want to gently process the cast surface of swing arms.
With this size, you could easily work on bottom cases too.

With this, you can work more powerfully and efficiently.
In my work, I rarely go without using wet blast.
For those who want to work beautifully and efficiently in the future, I highly recommend this gem.
You’ll need a wet blast and a 7.5Kw compressor,
so space and initial investment costs are substantial.

You could outsource all the work,
but considering today’s shipping costs and round-trip time, that’s very inefficient.
It also depends on how much longer you plan to keep working,
but if you’re thinking “maybe I’ll keep going a bit longer,”
the wet blast is the item I’d most recommend for bike shops like that.

When it comes to cost-effectiveness, there might be some tough aspects,
but wouldn’t it be nice to be able to do work that’s satisfying in many ways? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared to Cocotte, it’s much more reasonable.
And the work will become very efficient.

I can’t order right away due to space constraints, but I can say for certain that I will purchase it.
Bike shop, how much longer will you keep going, how will you enjoy the work\u2014
considering these things, I think it’s worthwhile.


It might look like I’m worrying easily, but it’s actually taking a lot of time.
Because the size is so big, there’s no room for mistakes.
Next, I need to carefully think about the compressor too….. <\/p>\n\n\n
