It’s strange how bikes from the 90s are already 30 years old.
However, since there are even older bikes still in service, the line keeps getting pushed back,
and it’s hard to reach the status of being called a classic bike.

As long as the Z, CB, and Katana don’t disappear, will it never become a classic?

It’s a nice monoblock caliper, so disassembly is a bit tricky.
I have tools I used before on my own Inazuma 1200, so I’ll disassemble it smoothly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you apply the tool directly, the anodizing will peel off,
so it’s best to wrap it with masking tape before working. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tool isn’t anything fancy.
I just welded a round rod at the right angle and rounded it out roughly.
Similar-looking tools are sold commercially, so if you do this work frequently, it might be worth buying one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The piston and oil seal set is surprisingly reasonable.
When doing an overhaul, always inspect the seals carefully.

In those cases, I make convenient tools each time so I don’t struggle in the future.

It’s a thin screwdriver that came with something, and the length and thinness are just right,

The MOS caliper looks great with a side-neck banjo.
Nobody might understand the difference between side-neck and straight,
but basically I’m proceeding with personal satisfaction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently using Brembo Corta Corsa 19\u03c6 to check the brake feel and will report back.
