Well, the Makita Power Brush Attachment I purchased the other day.
This product has been receiving harsh reviews.
I can understand why, though. It’s quite a demanding tool.

The tip is heavy, so the weight doubles\u2014or triples? Double payback?
A mysterious Power Brush Attachment indeed.
With this much weight, I can’t really think of using it casually.
I think almost 100% of people feel this way.

When I think it’s a hassle, I’m always filled with the desire to improve it.
So I decided to order some mysterious parts from Amazon as a last resort.

Everyone’s favorite\u2014I procured mysterious parts from Amazon.

It was supposed to arrive tomorrow, but it ended up taking an extra week. I wondered what was going on.
The box has quite a surreal, nice feel to it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s included is just this\u2014there’s no detailed instruction manual either.
You can see it, so figure it out! That attitude really comes through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were several similar products, but I chose one that looked as sturdy as possible.
The frame is made of plastic, and I really don’t think it can withstand the weight of the Power Brush. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clamp section is fixed without any articulation.
The idea is that if you tighten it, it’ll work with any diameter, but that doesn’t make sense, so
I’ll wrap 3M non-slip tape around the pipe and try to get it working temporarily. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t think I’d buy this type of product, but be careful with the bolt fastening. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It’s quite an interesting fastening method that allows you to secure it without using any tools.

The bolt’s hex head sinks in and gets secured.
You insert the bolt and nut, then turn the star mark on the wheel side vigorously to secure it. That’s how it’s finished.

The problem is it relies entirely on hand strength, so I’m concerned about the tightness.
However, if you tighten it too powerfully with pliers, the hex hole could collapse and become impossible to remove, so
moderate tightening is the way to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once assembled, I immediately tried cleaning the entrance. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ideally, it would be best if it could be mounted vertically to properly support the weight.
Since that’s not possible, I’ve mounted it at an angle.
The frame is structurally weak in that direction of load, so it’s bending quite a bit.

As a result, it becomes incredibly easy to use. The movement is easier, and the burden on the user is dramatically reduced.
However, with this attachment being so flimsy, I’m not sure it’ll last even a day.
*In this state, I think it’ll snap pretty quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, I wanted to get a feel for the frame length, wheel size, and positional layout.
Overseas, enthusiasts create and sell attachments.
They’re inexpensive, so I’m torn between buying those nice attachments or making my own.

You might think I should just make it myself, but the material costs end up being more than expected.
Plus, thinking and manufacturing time takes about a day.
There’s almost no guarantee that the first creation will be comfortable to use.
Considering all that, it seems faster and more efficient to just get something that’s been tested repeatedly and sold,
and it also seems to communicate information better to the world.
