The hot days keep continuing. I’m getting a bit tired of it.
The forecast says August will be even hotter, so I’ve decided to hold off on riding the bike for a while.

Finally, all the parts have arrived, so I’m going to do a carb overhaul. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since it’s a classic bike, there are many discontinued parts. I didn’t push it too hard and used the parts that were still usable, replacing the critical components.
Basically, I replaced the jets, float valve, and O-rings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I check the float level and actual fuel level.
Doing this check reduces the possibility of overflow or other issues after reassembly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remove the spark plugs and crank the engine to circulate the oil well before starting it.
After that, I synchronize the carburetors and it’s all set and complete. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brake fluid condition was in quite good shape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I charged the battery and changed the engine oil.
The engine oil is the usual Shell Advance Ultra 4T.
