Recently, M-TECH in Kyoto has been offering a rich lineup of repro parts for oil-cooled bikes! So we can feel confident.

M-TECH main harness comes in 3 types: early face\/mid face\/RK.
In other words, there’s no final version… Since there aren’t major changes, adaptation is possible. *Do your best <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harness replacement itself isn’t difficult.
What takes time is “organizing aftermarket parts” <\/span><\/strong>

There’s virtually no bike with completely stock electrical systems.
We keep worrying about where to tap power, how to route things, and endlessly wiring everything. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s just a matter of length, shape, and connector compatibility.

Whenever we have a chance, we want to clean it, right? Since it improves serviceability, moving it forward is standard practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GSX-R models can be replaced EASILY without removing the carb.
If you’re removing the tank anyway, you might as well replace it then too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before replacing, be sure to “check the outer and inner cable lengths.” <\/span><\/strong>

Suzuki has many similar cables.
The products are inspected and packaged, but the technician must also double-check <\/span><\/strong>by doing so

With a thin minus screwdriver, you can easily pop the ferrule in with a quick push! But here’s one thing:

The throttle cable fixing usually won’t fit with a standard wrench.
You either need to make a wrench like in the image or remove the diaphragm cover <\/strong>\u2014those are your two options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
