I had a six-month contract with a Roomba J9&#8230; <br>There may be compatibility issues, but&#8230; <br><strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">&#8220;I don&#8217;t want to use Roomba ever again.&#8221; <\/span><\/strong><br><strong>I&#8217;ve come to hate Roomba. <\/strong><br><br>When I returned it and was browsing Rentio&#8230; <br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentio.jp\/products\/yeedi-y1-pro-rto?type=um\"><strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">ECOVACS DEEBOT Y1 PRO Robot Vacuum<\/span><\/strong><\/a>and <br>it&#8217;s new but reasonably priced and not very popular? <br><br>Since the minimum is 3 months, I decided to <strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">rent it and it feels like the strongest option! <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentio.jp\/products\/yeedi-y1-pro-rto?type=um\"><br><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Don&#8217;t buy this type of appliance\u2014rent it instead! Use it for a while, return it, <br><strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">then rent again\u2014it&#8217;s really efficient<\/span><\/strong>. <br><br>If you buy outright, you might be disappointed, so renting first is the way to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">It&#8217;s overwhelmingly better than Roomba. LiDAR Navigation and TrueMapping Technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It&#8217;s so quiet! Silent, Standard, Strong, and Max Power<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It doesn&#8217;t bang into things!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The app is incredibly good!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What surprised me first was <br>\u25cf <strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">the speed and accuracy of map creation. <\/span><\/strong><br>Roomba seems to rely on a camera and repeated collisions, <strong>and the initial setup is unpleasant. <\/strong><br><strong>Bang, bang! It hits too much! <\/strong>The unit gets covered in scratches. <br><br>DEEBOT barely collides, <strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">and when it does, it&#8217;s very gentle and smooth. <\/span><\/strong><br><strong>LiDAR Navigation and TrueMapping Technology <\/strong>provide <strong>significantly better <\/strong>spatial awareness. <br><strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">It&#8217;s strong even at night! <\/span>The dotted laser light from LiDAR Navigation <\/strong>is clearly visible in dark areas. <br>It recognizes and moves using this, so it doesn&#8217;t get lost even in dark places. <br>*Roomba can&#8217;t find its way back and gets lost. <br><br><br>\u25cf <strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">The sound is extraordinarily quiet (compared to Roomba). <\/span><\/strong><br><strong>If Roomba is a truck, <\/strong>then <strong>DEEBOT is a car <\/strong>\u2014that&#8217;s the impression. <br><strong>Even running at max power, <\/strong>it&#8217;s <strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">incomparably quieter than Roomba. <\/span><\/strong><br>And it cleans so well\u2014it&#8217;s the best! <br><br>\u25cf <span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\"><strong>It doesn&#8217;t bang into things! <\/strong><\/span><br>When I first rented Roomba, my impression was <strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">that it&#8217;s a pretty rough appliance, <\/span><\/strong>and I thought <br>this must just be how they are&#8230; *Six months ago, <br>I introduced DEEBOT and set up the initial area, and&#8230; <strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">it&#8217;s quiet and doesn&#8217;t bang into things at all. <\/span><\/strong><br>This is how it should be&#8230; yeah, yeah, 21st century! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">\u25cf The app is exceptionally excellent <\/span><\/strong>*Roomba is the problem. First, setup is fast. I&#8217;m operating it in an area with slightly weak signal, but it connects on the first try! <br><br><strong>No-go zones, scheduling, real-time operation and trajectory, suction\/water level adjustments <\/strong>are all possible, <br>and the interface is very user-friendly. <strong><span class=\"swl-fz u-fz-l\">I really thought, later entrants really are strong!
