Basically just wiping and cleaning.
I use parts cleaner sparingly at the end (it’s expensive).

I pull out dirty rags (their final duty) and soak them in wash oil to wipe everything down.
Interestingly, bikes that are greasy with oil actually clean up to reveal cleaner insides. <\/span><\/strong>
Probably they’re less prone to corrosion. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll remove the generator and starter motor. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cleaning the starter motor mounting surface (case side) gives you extra peace of mind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The generator damper was also stiff (*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*)
The engine noise should be a bit quieter now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the shift oil seal, warm it up with a Makita heat gun. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This time there were no leaks yet.
After the bike has gone a certain distance, it’s a good idea to replace this part.
Ask your bike shop to do it when you replace the chain and sprockets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure to warm it up thoroughly after lubricating.
The probability of it coming out on the first try increases dramatically.
