Aftermarket parts ideally should be easy to install <\/span><\/strong>and capable of increasing performance, which would boost adoption rates <\/strong>, right?
If installation requires lots of “tricks and know-how,” <\/span><\/strong>the barrier to entry gets pretty high. <\/strong>
When it arrives and you open it up
“Alright! Install it!” <\/span><\/strong>
I think products like that would be awesome (*\u00b4\u25bd\uff40*) <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I’ve been thinking about this for a while – the oil cooler inlet diameter being “large at 40\u03c6” <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The diameter I used to use often was 38\u03c6 for the Z <\/span><\/strong>.
It was just the right size – not too large <\/span><\/strong>and the pitch was common too~
I used to work around the spigot issue to get it installed.

If they expanded the lineup to include sizes like 36\/38\u03c6 with “different flavor variations <\/span><\/strong>,” I think it would increase the enjoyment of oil cooling even more.
*I say that, but we’re a stock carb shop <\/span><\/strong>so I can’t really talk big about it… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It would be great to have an “easy-to-install TMR-specific intake manifold” (*’\u03c9’*) <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Depending on which intake manifold you use, the crankcase (generator boss) can be close or even make contact <\/span><\/strong>
since the TMR drain bolt is large, sometimes it gets too close.
At minimum 5mm, ideally 10mm <\/span><\/strong>of clearance would be reassuring.

It’s good to position the carb as close to the engine as possible for smooth feel.

TPS (throttle position sensor) is a must-have <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If I’m being greedy, I’d love to see a TPS that fits between #3 and #4 like they used to make <\/span><\/strong>– that would be amazing~
Preferably compact. <\/strong><\/span>

The oil-cooled 1200 series that comes with TPS pre-installed <\/span><\/strong>(GSF is import-only) has that advantage <\/span><\/strong>we want to leverage. <\/span>
Even with aftermarket ignition systems like Watanabe, if it’s a TPS-compatible unit <\/span><\/strong>then <\/span>3D mapping becomes possible. <\/span><\/strong>

With TPS, you get smooth, refined feel <\/span><\/strong>.
You can maximize the benefits of the TMR <\/span><\/strong>that way

YR throttle holder and throttle cable should also be model-specific <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Handlebar switches <\/span><\/strong>well, we’ll have to leave that to each person to figure out <\/span><\/strong>.
If the throttle area had dedicated design <\/span><\/strong>it would be extremely easy to order and install <\/strong><\/span>.

The YR throttle holder already exists in the current product lineup, so I’d like to see it expanded <\/span><\/strong>to more models.
*You’d probably need to research the winding diameter too. <\/strong>

From order to installation, all possible with Yoshimura products <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Let’s say you wanted to put a TMR on a GSF1200~ <\/b><\/span>.

You’d order the diameter selection\/dedicated intake manifold\/dedicated throttle holder & cable <\/span><\/strong>,
basically remove the stock parts and swap them in – that’s it, installation complete, super quick <\/strong>
. No need to source parts from different places <\/strong>or do custom fitting work <\/strong>anymore, making it very efficient. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
