Last night, before heading home, I quickly made a bracket.

But I don’t want to spend too much time on them <\/strong>
(labor costs go up) <\/strong>
That sweet spot is modifying commercial brackets, <\/strong>but… in the end, it’s often faster to just make it from scratch, right? <\/strong>That’s usually the case.

So,
without getting too elaborate, I build a system <\/strong>that can be completed within an hour… (in theory) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electropolishing \u2192 wet blasting <\/strong>for finishing.
SUS304 material
seems to be pretty disliked by bike shops… <\/strong>

It’s subtly difficult to machine, and cutting and bending it is tedious. <\/strong>Plus, heat discoloration is noticeable. <\/strong>
For removing discoloration,
you could use wet blasting from the start, but electropolishing first saves time, so I do it every time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
