The other day,
I acquired the Makita Recipro Saw JR189DZ<\/a><\/strong>.
I’ve owned the Makita Handy Saw MUC101DZ<\/a><\/strong>for some time now,
and
each has “different strengths,” <\/strong>

so having both is ideal, but
if you want an all-in-one solution?
I’m pretty sure
the Makita Recipro Saw JR189DZ<\/a><\/strong>is the answer (in my opinion).
Rotation or reciprocating? It’s a tough choice, isn’t it? (*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*) <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

At first glance, the chainsaw looks more compact, but when you remove the recipro saw blade, they’re almost the same size. <\/strong>
Weight-wise, the recipro saw is 2.5kg,
while the chainsaw is 1.9kg, so there is a difference.

You shouldn’t worry about size differences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

the Makita Handy Saw MUC101DZ <\/a><\/strong>does tend to have the chain slip off easily.
When that happens, you have to open the cover every time, <\/strong>and
chain adjustment (loosening it slightly) is essential. <\/strong>

Honestly, dealing with chain slippage, adjustments, and oil refills is tedious. <\/strong>

The Makita Recipro Saw JR189DZ <\/a><\/strong>just
requires twisting the tip to swap blades. <\/strong>
You can simply change the blade length according to the effective diameter. <\/strong>Plus, by switching to a metal-cutting blade, you can cut materials beyond wood. <\/strong>
The advantage it has over effective diameter and material versatility is <\/strong>
really exceptional. <\/strong>This is fantastic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cutting performance on wood can’t match a chainsaw! However, <\/h2>\n\n\n\n


the Makita Handy Saw MUC101DZ <\/a><\/strong>cuts so smoothly and satisfyingly, making felling really pleasant. <\/strong>
As mentioned earlier, it’s limited by effective diameter. <\/strong>
It can’t be used close to the ground, <\/strong>
*and it can’t cut as flat against the ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


the Makita Recipro Saw JR189DZ <\/a><\/strong>is admittedly slower <\/strong>
compared to <\/strong>a chainsaw. <\/strong>However, by changing the blade according to the effective diameter,
you can adapt to different situations, and you can even cut <\/strong>quite aggressively close to the ground. <\/strong>
There’s no risk of “kickback” that comes with rotational tools, <\/strong>so you can use it with confidence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
