I thought I’d use my digital mirrorless camera (it’s a mouthful, so I’ll just call it a mirrorless camera from now on) for a change, but the battery died.
This might be one of those common electronics problems (*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*)

Finally, the wire and brake hose arrived, so I’m going to install them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I’m only extending the “throttle cable”<\/strong> and “brake hose”<\/strong>
“choke cable”<\/strong> – I decided to go ahead and do it as a set anyway, just because I felt like it.

Kawasaki is seriously impressive with these kinds of small parts being released.

It really just doesn’t quite reach.
I considered using a rubber hose too, but the “swaged line”<\/strong> has this amazing ball joint feature.
It’s incredibly flexible, you know?

When I use it on the caliper side, sometimes it twists in the loosening direction during removal, so whenever I take the caliper off,
I always check the hose lock!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s how the installation is complete.
If I’m being picky, the brake hose could have been 10-15MM shorter…<\/strong>
This is the difference between commercial products and custom-made ones
– but this stainless hose costs 7,700 yen! If I had it made at G\/R, it wouldn’t even cover the parts cost…

The throttle wire carb doesn’t have a free joint<\/strong> so installation is definitely a pain. That’s for sure.
Since I’m lazy, I changed the wire without removing the carb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key to brake bleeding is the source – “the master cylinder side, which is the pump”<\/strong>
Once you bleed the air from the master, all the air bleeding goes smoothly to the finish.

If you do an initial vacuum pull and get the air out of the master, the rest is quick and easy…
Of course, “the master’s hole should be positioned high so air bleeds easily”<\/strong> you know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a bit loose, so I checked the synchronization while I was at it.
It was correct, so just an inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Improved the areas with poor serviceability.
This part of the GPZ900R is annoying, right? I thought push rivets would have been better, but
this time I went with a well nut.

Now it’s just a test ride and we’re done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
