I can’t just buy it outright…
Or rather, I won’t.
But I do want to try it out.
For people like me, rental is the way to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The benefits of renting <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether it suits your needs is a big deal.
These days it’s
easier to resell things, but when you think about listing and packaging, you really don’t want to make a mistake.

When the price gets into five figures,
you have to be careful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seasonal appliances are best rented.
I’ve been
renting a humidifier
since last year. No storage, maintenance, or consumables to worry about. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even if you use a humidifier for only about six months,
there’s the cost of filter replacements, overall deterioration,
maintenance like descaling and cleaning,
and you can
try the latest models and different brands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If something involves the keywords “seasonal appliance, consumables, storage, and new models every year,”
renting might be the way to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Roomba has
filters, brushes, and batteries
that are all consumables.
Depending on how often you use it,
you’ll need to replace them in a few years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And considering
how it keeps evolving year after year,
I think
renting is the more fun and efficient choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
