“shape memory type sleeve”
to protect it.
The appearance is clean and beautiful.

Lately
I’m too lazy to look at the lathe dial (markings)
Using a dial gauge
to make it semi-digital counter-like

pointing up. This is unexpectedly tricky.
Can’t mount it lower than the image

And if I move it closer to the master clamp
it contacts the cowl bracket
