This work wasn’t a separate request item.
Gasoline stains occasionally accumulate on the sprocket cover…

Since we went through the trouble of replacing and polishing it clean,
we checked to make sure there were no leaks, but it turned out to be surprisingly tricky.

The float chamber has a lot of burrs, so it’s reassuring to remove them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s been changed to an aftermarket rubber float valve.
I was impressed that such a product exists~ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let the gasoline flow through and let it sit for a while.
Now we can install it with confidence.

When I checked the operation here, I noticed the slide valve
moving in a really unpleasant way. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The slide valve had some kind of burr caught on it.
It was a contact issue on the carburetor body side.

Both #3-4 were in a similar condition.

Removing the burrs and polishing took 2 hours…
Finally it became smooth. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
