As expected, you really know your own vehicle model well.

I thought I could just cut a plate and weld the tabs and be done… but then…

The tabs that go into the rubber are too close to the Inazuma 1200’s hole positions… way too close.
If I use the same position, I suddenly run into a problem where the bolt won’t tighten.

This is tricky.
So what if I just offset it?

If I shift it toward the chain side “the chain is way too close, rejected” <\/strong>
If I offset it to the right “it contacts the brake master area” <\/strong>
If I move it up vertically “the wiring contacts the air cleaner box” <\/strong>
If I move it down vertically “the harness won’t reach” <\/strong>

Hmm, seriously?
Should I just have everyone’s favorite zip ties hold it on?
I’m going to think hard about this at my desk for a while.

The dilemma is “STOP or GO” <\/strong>and “cost issues” <\/strong>.
I don’t want to spend money like an idiot
but I also want it to look reasonably nice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time passes… and it’s done.
The U-shaped bracket was made by modifying a 750RK stock bracket.
I made it a two-tier setup, as I’d always dreamed of! \u266a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The igniter position is the same as stock, but with this mounting
the “fuel pump” <\/strong>contacts it.

Fortunately, since I’m running without a fuel pump, we cleared that.

The struggles aren’t always visible. That’s just how it is!
