I make a strong effort every day not to “put my own faults aside.”
My usual stance of “not complaining and not belittling others” remains unwavering precisely because of this self-admonition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking at the world today, I sense a growing tendency to exaggerate others’ mistakes and present oneself as larger and more perfect. Yet as humans, flawless work is impossible.
What matters is recognizing errors and transforming them into learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The problem is that we tend to be least aware of our own mistakes. If we charge ahead without noticing, we’ll eventually become “the emperor with no clothes.” To avoid that, maintaining humility and approaching challenges with joy seems most important. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mechanic work often brings the frustration of investing time and effort without seeing results. Still, I hope young technicians never lose heart and continue to find joy in working with machines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Except when stock is tight due to sourcing, I stick with NTN.
Just a preference really…
Wheel bearings already installed rarely show “bad condition” <\/strong>signs.
Most of the time it’s “probably fine.”

“Replace if it’s bad” <\/strong>makes it hard to commit to the work.
So I ask: “How many years and miles has it been used?” <\/strong>
If the age and mileage are substantial, replacement might be worthwhile.
Honestly, bearings are incredibly durable, and sealed bearings are even more so.

Wheel bearings can be replaced based on age and mileage.

Wheel bearings aren’t just a simple swap.
One side is the reference, the other is the adjustment side.
Too tight stresses the bearing; too loose does too.

Wheel press clearance isn’t eternally ideal either.
Repeated removal and installation wears the wheel.
Thoughtful, loving replacement keeps things running smoothly longer…
To really check bearing movement,
spin the wheel alone with a spacer bottomed out and the axle tightened\u2014you’ll feel the difference.
You’ll be amazed how much bearing fit affects smoothness!

Once assembled and the bike runs, the difference is tiny… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hub bearing turned out special\u2014delivery is next week…
