The Zephyr is also quite an old bike these days.
I think many of us have moments where we think, “Oh, I wish I’d bought it back then.”

Used bikes and parts are always decreasing in absolute quantity\u2014that’s just how it is.
“Buy it when you can get your hands on it!”

The duplex is on the outside!!!! <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I think I’ve only ever seen hand-bent titanium cyclones like this on the old GSF1200.
Why did they mount it on the outside for this model…?

Since it’s used, the silencer has some damage.
I tried polishing it a bit with a “dual action” <\/a><\/strong>polisher….

Well, I think this is good enough…
I’d like to do a little more repair work on it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really hate this kind of work, so I set a “1-hour” <\/strong>limit and just power through it.

Surprisingly, the dents cover a pretty wide area, so
if you really get into it, it becomes super tedious and turns into a full day’s work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time passes… “1 hour later” <\/strong>
That’s it, I’m done. Compared to where it started, it’s come back to life quite a bit.

*Just so you know, I don’t do this professionally, so please contact a machine shop if you need it done.
The Zephyr 550 doesn’t even have a license plate yet.
Of course I haven’t ridden it either, so it’s something to look forward to! \u266a <\/p>\n\n\n\n
