The GSF1200 has become a rare bike.
Our inventory has drastically decreased too…
We’re being left behind by the overwhelming dominance of the Inazuma 1200…

Since it’s just an inspection and clutch, we’ll get it done quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I tried to replace it, it turned out to be a “diaphragm type” <\/strong>clutch.
So it came in already soaked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The work is “almost entirely determined by special tools,” <\/strong>you could say.
No matter how great your general-purpose tools are, some things just won’t come off (\uff1b\u2200\uff1b)

Suzuki’s clutch setup bolts are subtly annoying.
The later models have two bolts and are even easier to strip.

With this tool, you can release the tension, so stripping is almost impossible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During installation, you can also apply tension, so “loose tightening” <\/strong>is virtually impossible.

The clutch dimensions were fine and there was no burning.
Basically, with city riding, the clutch doesn’t wear down much.

Usually it’s the friction plates that deteriorate and harden,
causing poor engagement and slipping. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
