Your first Makita is probably an
impact driver?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This impact driver is an incredibly useful tool.
When you first use it, you think“what in the world is this?”<\/strong>

It’s fast at driving and removingtapping screws<\/strong>in wood.
I realized it’s a tool specialized for<\/strong>Phillips head
screws.

It’s also a very effective tool for motorcycle work.
*I mostly use it just for looseningsmall Phillips screws on carburetors and such<\/strong>\u2014it’s perfect for that.
*You can almost always remove them without stripping.
When removing M6 bolts on engine covers and such, it’s instant<\/strong>.

It’s also excellent as a hack for tapping (cutting threads).
By hand you’d break the tap, butwith an impact driver you won’t<\/strong>
\u2014that happens too.

When you want to drivetapping screws into wood<\/strong>, it’s an indispensable tool.
Light drilling (especially quietly) is also possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 111 mm long, it’s compact enough to use in tight spaces.

Previous models also had atrigger switch<\/strong>

Maybe this trigger switch is smoother now?
I’m not having any problems, so I’m not replacing it…

But with this type,the latest<\/strong>isthe strongest<\/strong>in terms of specs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
