I’ve actually been searching for POP’S CLUB for ages.
Then, out of the blue, a Yoshimura enthusiast customer lent me about 12 copies, so I thought if I could scan them non-destructively, I could enjoy them?
So I rented the rental site Rentio’s CZUR ET MAX Book Scanner <\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first I tried scanning at a convenience store. It wasn’t nearly as easy as I thought. After trying one book\u2026


\u2022 Higher quality = slower scanning
\u2022 About \u00a5700\u2013800 per book
\u2022 Doing all 12 would mean spending 3\u20134 hours at the convenience store\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I gave up and went back to the workshop to think of a better plan. Looking for speed and quality, I rented the highly-rated CZUR ET MAX Book Scanner.

The lighting reflected off the paper, making setup difficult.
If it’s too dark, it won’t recognize anything, so balancing this is extremely tricky.

High-contrast images like black and white are also problematic.
It wasn’t the dream device the reviews made it out to be.
Cutting and scanning definitely beats it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With about 12 books total, including setup, I ended up spending about 3 hours.
I got the hang of it, so next time would be faster, but I won’t be renting this scanner again.

I think scanning at a convenience store would actually be more reliable.
It’s not suited for glossy photo paper\u2014it’s really only good for text scanning. <\/strong>That’s the way to think about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At least I got it scanned, so that’s something, “Not buying it was absolutely the right call.” <\/span><\/strong>
It was completely wrong for my needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s beautifully laid out as both reading material and design.
For something at the level of a light booklet, this quality is unbelievable.

Everything about it is really well-made.
