I changed the turn signals to ones that are difficult to pass inspection.
I’ve set them up with a bolt-fixed look without modifying the fairing.

The wiring is done like the original with 040 gauge, left gray and right black.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stock plug wires are old and have developed permanent kinks, which is a major concern.
I took the liberty of swapping them out for the usual Kijima silicone wires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making the plug wires a bit longer improves workability.
Routing them forward works even better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, I’ve also labeled the numbers with P-TOUCH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A common issue with aftermarket steps: they just don’t fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have to force it pretty hard to install them, otherwise the brake hose contacts the frame.
That’s quite a problem, a serious problem.
To install them cleanly, I switched to double banjo bolts and used spacers to move it outward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No matter which direction you go, the brake line will be under stress,
