We’ll change the outlet nipple to straight.
With a clip-on handlebar and RCS, the hose subtly becomes “S-shaped,” so we’re avoiding that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Removing it requires a bit of technique and special tools.
If you use a thin scraper like this, sharpen it, hook it, and pull it out, you can remove it cleanly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can extract just the hose nipple like this, then remove the seal with a flathead screwdriver. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assemble the new nipple and seal, lubricate with metal rubber lubricant, insert, and you’re done.
It requires a bit of force, so be careful not to shoot the master cylinder across the room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
