When I take a bike in at the end of the year, a “mental time lag” <\/strong>occurs\u2014I’m sure I’m not the only one experiencing this…

Since bikes are my hobby, desires like “I want to do this, I want to do that” <\/strong>never end.
I’d like to help out with whatever I can manage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

This is a request to change the rear brake from the original.
Basically, I’m a “stock parts reuse guy” <\/strong>and I really love that <\/strong>“non-customized feel.”

In other words, I’m the <\/strong>“subtle and understated” type. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The more the brake caliper rod sticks out, the worse it performs.
Somewhere along the way, I’ve noticed a trend of “spherical joints are OK,” <\/strong>but… I’m not sure about that.

Sometimes there’s nothing you can do structurally, so I just quietly observe (*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll remove unused parts and change the rear disc diameter to 220\u03c6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went with a GSXR1000-series 220\u03c6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ZZR1400 Nissin Rear Caliper 43080-0040-DJ <\/strong>

This cast iron feel. Aluminum pistons, anodized calipers\u2014it’s just the best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Could it be discontinued? 69721-18G00 This is also from the GSX-R1000 series around K3
This one has the same pitch and 220\u03c6. Since the rear axle is thick, you can offset it as much as you want. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After making the collar and positioning it, we’ll <\/strong>“fabricate the boss and weld it to the swingarm.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
