\u30fbA funnel or printed paper (like from a magazine)
\u30fbA heat gun (just in case of seizing)
\u30fbExtra fork oil <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, save the fork oil <\/strong>you’ve drained from “both sides.”
You might not have enough, so prepare some extra fork oil just in case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insert the funnel and extend the fork to “full extension.” <\/strong>Stretch it out fully and fill it with
“as much oil as possible.” <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you skimp here, it won’t work at all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lightly tighten the fork cap and you’re ready to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set up the front fork in the compressed direction.

Set it up so the fork doesn’t bear any unnecessary strain.

If it still won’t come out even with “click-click” tightening, <\/strong>then it’s either “seized” <\/strong>or “something’s wrong.” <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
