Here’s the beloved Inazuma 1200 Katana (GSX1200S) that everyone loves (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time it’s quite voluminous, so I’ll move through it quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

It’s quite dirty ( \uff1b\u2200\uff1b)
I suspect it’s not an oil management issue but rather “oil temperature running too high,” so please be careful too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can only replace the front one, but I’ll go ahead and replace the cam chain slider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cam chain slider was“hardened with cracks”<\/strong>in it.
Inside there’s“metal sandwiched”<\/strong>so it won’t break, but there’s still a possibility it could shatter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The oil-cooled cam chain tensioner is compact and efficient.
Looking at the stock tensioners on Katanas and Zs,“they’re big and have complicated mechanisms,”<\/strong>and you really feel the passage of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This tensioner is“automatic,”<\/strong>but it won’t tension unless“it’s quite slack.”<\/strong>It’s good to adjust it while
“hand cranking”<\/strong>and consulting with“the current condition of the cam chain.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course,“cam chains don’t stretch uniformly all around.”<\/strong>It’s good to work on it while
“keeping in mind the deterioration of the chain and slider.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
