Originally, I bought this for a <\/strong> Makita dust collector.
Dust collectors get crazy static electricity this time of year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dust clings due to static electricity, so even wiping doesn’t remove it\u2014it’s really annoying.
Spray this on and “Wait, that’s weird?” <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Hold on. This could work on motorcycles too, right?” <\/strong> That’s the kind of thinking that led me here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

It doesn’t have to be Trusco.

I just picked it because it’s a brand I know. That’s the only reason.

Since it’s a dry type, you can spray it and leave it as is, or lightly wipe it off on visible areas if you prefer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In winter, static electricity on motorcycle resin parts <\/strong> gets really bad.
\u2022 Windscreen
\u2022 Fairing
\u2022 Fender
Even when you wipe them, you’re just moving the dust around, <\/strong> so cleaning doesn’t feel very effective.

\u2022 The Town Ace seat <\/strong> also gets terrible static electricity, but after applying this, it’s been almost completely gone.

\u2022 The inside of the Makita heated down jacket <\/a> <\/strong> is fleece too, so it crackles with static. That’s gone now as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
