Combined with Daytona D-UNIT+ <\/a>installation, things become much easier. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With this D-UNIT+, you can “obtain 12V ON and ground in parallel” <\/strong>. And
“constant power and constant ground” can also be obtained from this D-UNIT+, so <\/strong>
“the number of connections to the battery is drastically reduced”. <\/strong>
It’s worth reviewing the area under the seat and around the battery.
Even if it’s not visible, cleanliness is paramount, and work efficiency really improves.

Before I knew it, it was complete.
The rear was quick, but the front gave me pause.

The thing is,
“if you install it stylishly,” the dashcam becomes less useful *the recording range is reduced.
And workability suffers, requiring dashcam adjustment every time the cowl is removed.
I was caught in this dilemma ( \uff1b\u2200\uff1b) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both front and rear use the “A+B+C strategy” – the configuration with the fewest failures and easiest recovery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the front, I mounted the base vertically, so I have an M3*0.5 backup bolt in place (;’\u2200’) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stem bolt was in just the right spot and it’s a solid M12.
I threaded an M6 hole in the center and “borrowed the boss.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When turning the handlebars, it gets pretty tight. I’ve set it up quite conservatively, so rest assured. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It sticks out a bit, but you shouldn’t notice it much.
Removing the upper cowl is easy, and removing this camera is just one M6 bolt.

Simple is best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rear looks like this.
Currently mounted on the left side of the license plate, but it can also be mounted on the right side in reverse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if mounted on the right side, the camera can be installed further out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s how it is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installing a dashcam is subtly more difficult than installing an ETC.
The time spent designing and thinking about it is longer than the actual installation (;’\u2200’) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next is sheet metal work. Since the area under the seat is empty, it shouldn’t be too complicated…
