When you think of label makers, King Jim’s “Tepra” comes to mind, right?

Actually, Brother’s P-TOUCH is far superior. You’ll feel the difference once you’ve used it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I use the P900W, which is almost semi-professional grade.
I thought this might not be ideal for general consumers, so I’d like to suggest two alternatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why P-TOUCH instead of Tepra? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 No adhesive residue (color) left after peeling
\u2022 Chemical and solvent resistant – text won’t fade even with acetone <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honestly, just these two points.
There are other interesting tapes available, but since they’re not mainstream, I’ll skip them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take my advice – you should definitely choose P-TOUCH. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best choices are either the “PT-P710BT” or “PT-P300BT” <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First, let me introduce the “PT-P300BT” <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PT-P300BT is smartphone-only compatible. It’s affordable and easy to use. <\/a>
Brother website <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is just my opinion, but I almost exclusively use 9mm size labels.
As for colors, 90% of the time I use yellow, occasionally black, and rarely other colors.

For me, as long as it can print 9mm, that’s all I need.

The PT-P300BT is smartphone-only.
It runs on either batteries or an AC adapter.
AC Adapter (sold separately)
AA Alkaline Batteries x6 (sold separately)
AA Rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride Batteries x6 (sold separately)
That’s a bit of a hassle, isn’t it… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Usually the batteries are dead when you need it. And buying an AC adapter seems like a hassle too… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then there’s the “PT-P710BT” <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, it can print up to 24mm width.
You rarely need that size, but having the capacity is better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuts effortlessly! Features automatic cut function <\/strong>
It’s a convenient feature when printing multiple labels, but honestly “I don’t print multiple labels that often.” <\/strong>
*Like labeling oil filters – that’s more of a business use case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Includes Li-ion rechargeable battery <\/strong> This is great! \u266a
The battery lasts well and is reusable – this is definitely the better choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, this model is also compatible with smartphone apps, so there’s nothing to complain about. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comparing these two options, I think Brother P-touch Label Maker PT-P710BT <\/a>is the way to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
