When removing, I go at it hard with the impact wrench.
The big Makita I bought the other day. With minimal vibration, it came right off in a flash.

So with everything disassembled like this, I’ll proceed with inspection and cleaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The customer mentioned the clutch has been slipping lately, but this doesn’t look like it’s going to be a problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No abrasive material peeling. The steel plates are sparkling \u2606
The friction plates are also nice and moist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone’s favorite? FCC clutch. Since the OEM won’t work, we have to rely on this one. I think there are quite a few bike models like this, aren’t there??

It’s not from the era when old bikes were designed.
It’s made with modern technology, so the performance is reliable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s reassuring to check the thickness and number of new and old plates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If this fit becomes loose, the engine gets really noisy.
But GSX-R models tend to have this issue, don’t they…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The basket impact marks are also mild and look good. *The condition is different from some high-mileage bikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s moments like these when I realize the front cover is also a consumable part.
Keeping a bike running really is tough (;’\u2200’)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleaning it up doesn’t actually improve performance.
But I still want to clean it.
