Since they don’t sell it, they brought in a GSX1100S instead.

The wiring layout is all the same. However, two wires are missing.

This is because the S model is equipped with a convenient (?) turn signal control unit.
It’s needed for the device that turns off the turn signal after driving for a while with it left on.
We’re removing it so we don’t need it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For some reason, the turn signal relay suddenly stopped working…
I thought it might be the switch, but it’s the same even after switching back.
I’ll replace the relay with an IC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As expected, Daytona Motorcycle Turn Signal Relay LED Compatible 2-Pin 1-100W Compatible 99989<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, this is the only turn signal relay I use. It’s such a good product. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was supposed to be a simple left switch replacement ended up getting more and more complicated… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LED headlight is flashing in sync with the turn signal?
Even after reading through the manual, the circuit shouldn’t be set up that way?
I’m stumped… It’s already afternoon… What was supposed to take 10 minutes… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After much deliberation, I decided to go back to basics.
I removed the MotoEasy-type stuff and switched the bulb back to halogen…
It’s fixed… Perfect. But when using LED, it flickers. The verdict is that it’s a fundamental issue.
There’s a headlight direct relay lying around, so I’ll install that to solve it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s nice how it’s been subtly upgraded to look stock.

Always mark the leftover connectors after removing them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cut the stock wires and laid them out to look just like original equipment.
