This carburetor is unfamiliar to those who only work with domestic bikes.
Despite having a flat valve, it’s a light and excellent carb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

How do I remove it again?
After a long time, I find myself thinking “hmm…”

The mix of metric and imperial is super annoying. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fixing structure is so different it’s fascinating.
It actually works like this… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And extraction complete.
Once you get used to it, you can probably remove it pretty quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This interesting carb also has V-seal type components.
I’m grateful that parts are available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It gets pretty sooty from backflow. The float chamber was clean though. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I found this convenient kit for sale, so I’ll use it.

There are cheap-looking ones too. The OEM is the safest choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Float valve 4.2 is pretty big, I must say. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
