They run at full speed when powered on, and don&#8217;t stop unless you turn off the switch. <br>This product resolved all those frustrations at once. <br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instant braking when the switch is OFF greatly improves safety. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When observing while grinding, releasing it turns it OFF so it&#8217;s not noisy. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The &#8220;rotation adjustment dial&#8221; is divine.
