Finally made it to the main event.
All that effort cutting back on work is paying off.

I’m cleaning up the inside of the wheels before doing a tire change.
Since it’s currently tube-type, I’m going to go ahead and convert it to tubeless. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Writing the date used and trying to use it up in a year is actually pretty effective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So now we’ve got aluminum air valves.
I’m the type who puts a gasket in between. It probably doesn’t do much, but it’s more of a washer-type approach.

The stem bearings are in good condition, so I’m reusing them.
Those Z tapered rollers are hard to remove… I’d really prefer not to weld if I can help it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The front fork parts haven’t arrived yet, so I’m looking into the stud bolts.
There’s no listing in the parts manual, so I’m going to adapt something. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where the studs were seated, the surface had a raised area, so I chamfered it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is it that this weird shop stocks all kinds of studs?
And they only come in packs of three? That’s frustrating…
