By using a “trigger cable” to trigger voltage from a compatible battery, you might be able to use it with a regular mobile battery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The cable itself just looks like an ordinary cable.
One end is “TYPE-C” and the other is “DC jack 5.5-2.5”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s amazing about this cable is…
Just by plugging it in, it triggers the desired voltage from the battery.


Plug in a 9V cable and it outputs 9V
Plug in a 20V cable and it outputs 20V <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An incredibly wonderful item that calls the desired voltage from the battery.


Plug in the compatible cable to trigger “9\/12\/15\/20V” and more!
Perfect for Makita’s rechargeable heating series like this one and also for charging PCs.

PC AC adapters are pretty bulky, aren’t they?
It’s a dream-like item that lets you power and charge devices without carrying around that huge adapter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, “caution is absolutely necessary”.
If you plug in a cable with the wrong voltage, PC equipment could “die instantly”.
“The price you pay for convenience and portability is high.”

Even with heating devices, if you suddenly apply nearly double the voltage like 20V, who knows what could happen.
You really need to check with a tester before using it\u2014electricity is truly scary.
This trigger cable won’t work “forever”.
This isn’t something safe for everyone, so use it at your own risk <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are testers like this that you just plug in, so it’s good to always check. <\/a>

Well, even if the trigger cable breaks, the voltage shouldn’t go any higher…

Since the Makita battery outputs 10.9V, if it’s lower, it’ll just be warm, so

The setup looks like this.
I think a PD-compatible battery is best.

\u2191This has USB-C port: 5V=3A \/ 9V=3A \/ 15V=3A \/ 20V=3
so 12V is not detected.
The above battery is too large in size.

Half the capacity with high output is definitely the way to go. *I’m currently testing with this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, even at 5V it lights up, so at 9V the jacket will definitely light up.
For now, I’ll use it at 9V and experience how it feels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Testing with the smaller one.
I started without knowing the battery’s charge level…
It ran for about 3 hours and 19 minutes. I stopped temporarily to take photos <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warmth is a bit weak at 9V, but it’s running solidly.
The inside of the pocket reaches 38 degrees.
The inside of the heated vest pocket is incredibly warm!

What I want to check next is using a practical 10000mAh battery
How many hours at 9V?
How many hours at 12V? I’d like to know how long it can run…
