It brews coffee automatically and deliciously, and maintenance after use is easy too.
But once it’s brewed, I want to drink it right away, yet I also want to at least rinse it with water… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I managed to make that dream come true (*\u00b4\u0437`) <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

This is what it looks like after brewing coffee and rinsing it with water.
Everything is compactly organized with just the essentials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since it’s a stainless steel punching tray, the water drains down into the enamel container below (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I place the filter with the grounds in the enamel container below to dry.
It works perfectly as both a draining area and a dedicated trash spot for the filter\u2014very quick and time-saving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enamel is durable and easy to clean.
If stains form, soaking it in kitchen bleach brings it back to like-new condition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone’s favorite “Noda Enamel”\u2014Noda Enamel Rectangle Shallow M with Seal Lid, Made in Japan WRA-M<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used a punching tray made by Takagi. <\/a>
*Just because I had it on hand… the size is unclear.
The size notation on Takagi’s website is hard to read. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I sheared the stainless steel plate and spot-welded it to create a catch point.
I originally planned for it to fit perfectly into the enamel like Cinderella’s slipper, but…
it ended up requiring some modification.

That’s just how the world works. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spot-welded four pieces together this way to keep it from moving.
I’ve built in some play so it’s not finicky to attach and detach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
