I’ll start by checking the front end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shaft wouldn’t come out without tapping\u2014weird???
I wondered if that’s just how TZRs are, but that can’t be right.

There was a burr on the thin spacer that was catching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now it slides right out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bearings and wheel and tire runout should be fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The speedometer gear is pretty loaded with grease, so I’ll clean it up nicely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleaning a spot like this probably won’t make much difference…
But it’s the thought that counts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to use parts as much as I can\u2014that’s the spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll clean and lubricate the speedometer cable.
It had turned into grease, so the timing was perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I was at it with the coolant change, I replaced the cap too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since there’s some overlap, I cleaned and lubricated areas I hadn’t looked at yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The air filter was clean, so I left it as is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High-shear epoxy adhesive<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This stuff really works. I find it incredibly helpful (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce<\/p>\n\n\n\n
