In today’s world, nothing works without a smartphone.
During a power outage or disaster, you can’t know whether a mobile battery you rarely use will actually work.

I grind coffee beans with a cordless mill and brew it (the machine does).
Previously, this mill also required 100V power, so I had to move it to where the outlet was.

Not everything, but I think hose reels (air tools) could also be downsized.

What’s great is the power that isn’t affected by compressor pressure.
No moisture enters the air tools at all.
Maintenance and management of compressor-related equipment is also reduced (air piping, water drainage, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think impact wrenches and similar tools might already be superior in battery-powered form.
I haven’t replaced mine yet, but looking at the listed tightening torque specs, they’re incredible.

And since the construction industry has thoroughly identified the downsides, I think the durability is beyond question.
We might actually be entering an era where tool manufacturers’ air tools stop selling…
