If I insert it as-is, it floats like this, so I’ll countersink it to make it flush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since it was tedious, I used a 7MM end mill on the lathe to countersink it.
If you don’t drill too deep, you can also use a regular drill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You just screw it into the drill handle thread (M8-P1.25) and twist it on… That’s right.
It’s very easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I can attach it to iron like this.
A few things to note.

Be careful because thin steel plates will reduce the holding power.
Also, the angled grinder as shown in the image is somewhat problematic.

It’s held by weight, but
force is applied in the direction of pulling the magnet off, so it’s a bit easy to come loose.
*It can’t be held with the battery attached.

The angle driver holds firm even with the battery attached.

Making an attachment to make it straight might be even better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
