Yes, this is the latest model piston.

I use a puller to extract the plate, but it’s gripping so tight it won’t come out.
Every time I pull with all my might “Heave-ho!!!” and it goes “Crack!” and pops off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I made a sub-harness to connect to the GSXR. (Not that it’s anything fancy)
When I secure it with braided tubing and cable ties, it looks kind of like a foreign bike, don’t you think? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let me back up a bit. When removing the plate, it’s good to remove the damper and check how far it goes in. By the way, it’s almost flush. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since they said I could leave the battery to them, I went with the GL-PB14L-A2.
It’s an AGM gel battery that can convert from open-type to MF as-is\u2014a great product.
The durability has been good so far. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sticking leftover Shorai sponge on the back of the terminal nut improves serviceability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This keeps the nut constantly lifted, reducing frustration from dropped nuts and screws not seating properly.
This leads to the next maintenance step. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bolts also get shorter, so they can’t be reused (*^-^*) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new generator has excellent voltage regulation.
