The biggest problem is not knowing what parts are being used. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can’t even tell if it’s OEM or a generic adaptation.
If it’s original, you can just extract parts from the parts list, but when you think “what is this?”, everything stops.
From there, you dive into the internet world, order what you think it might be, wait for it to arrive, and check.
If it matches, great, but if not, you repeat this process.

You run into trouble with small things.
I’m pretty sure it’s this… probably.
Since the internet is widespread now, that helps, but you won’t really know until you actually install it.
These days, many parts are discontinued, so you might have to replace the whole thing.

Clutches and such are problematic these days too.
On one hand, there are reproductions.
But after you sell it, the next owner won’t know if it’s the original spec or an adaptation.

Buying a used bike means accepting everything that comes with it.
Good and bad are two sides of the same coin. Even a single cable tie is used.

Analyzing the current state takes time and costs money.
There’s a reality to used bikes that dreams and ideals alone can’t overcome. Writing it all out like this makes it sound like nothing but negatives, but depending on how you look at it, it’s experience.

Owning and riding a motorcycle in this satisfied modern age probably brings many feelings.
