A low-side crash is really unavoidable, isn’t it?
The fairing cracks, the bracket breaks\u2014someone wanted to do something about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ideally without drilling holes in the fairing… nothing doing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Ideally symmetrical left and right with some flexibility (in my opinion)

I decided to source it from what looks like the engine’s upper mount point.
It should be neither more nor less than this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From craft paper to steel (since our shop has limited materials and steel is cheap, we test with steel), then back to craft paper, then to steel again\u2014I repeat this cycle several times.

It’s a super analog method. The ultimate in fitting to the actual piece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cutting away with the contouring tool, grinding with the belt sander, and rough-finishing with the R-cutter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Makita-modified R-cutter has incredibly sharp cutting power.
I can only remove 0.3mm at a time. (It flies off easily!) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With temporary fixing, it looks like this.

Removal is easy and the slider extension can be adjusted with a spacer.
We don’t have such a long bolt in stock, so I’d like to order one from Honda and adjust it.
