All the parts aren’t brand new either; they’ve accumulated years and mileage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Now they’re all 20-year-old vehicles.
With years, mileage, and varying maintenance conditions stacked on top of each other, I think we’re in a situation that nobody can imagine, and it’s probably beyond what the manufacturer ever intended. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think we need to keep in mind what complications might arise from replacing certain parts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just removing it changes its position. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The brake caliper (axial) changes the pad contact just by being removed.
Especially with worn pads and discs, you can feel the friction when spinning the wheel.
Just removing and reinstalling parts can make things worse or better.
If you don’t carefully feel your way through the process, you often end up going “( ,,`\uff65\u03c9\uff65\u00b4)\uff9d\uff9d\uff9d?” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carb overflow is a matter of luck. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

No matter how perfect the carb is, if the tank is rusted, it’s hopeless.
Yet there are also bikes where the tank is surprisingly rusted but still don’t overflow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even when you do everything right, it still leaks sometimes ( \uff1b\u2200\uff1b) like tears~ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honestly, it’s so mysterious it’s traumatic.
I don’t think there’s anything this delicate, but when things go wrong, the problems never end… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fork seal leaks are also mysterious <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I think it’s about clearance and rust spots… but

There are bikes that are super rusted and tight, with the seal rubbing, but don’t leak…
And then there are ones that are all shiny and new but start leaking right away…
It’s too mysterious.

Even when the plating gets thin, the actual clearance reduction is surprisingly small.
Even with genuine inner tubes, sometimes the new ones are thinner (in the hundredths of a mm).

It seems like how it’s used matters more than its condition.
Machines and things are often preserved through use\u2014that’s a big part of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s an occult side to it too, but maybe it’s just beyond what was intended for something already made.
Basically, it’s case by case.
It’s not about right or wrong, but about getting along with the current state.

I think the same goes for the human body, don’t you?
