I think there’s virtually nobody who installs just one electrical component. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every time you add an electrical component, you have to hunt for a power source with a multi-tap and share-ground the negative battery terminal or similar.
The hunting and connection work take more time than you’d expect, and the appearance and serviceability both suffer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installing this Daytona D-UNIT or D-UNIT+ <\/a>is a one-time job.
Once it’s in, you can draw power and ground in parallel from it.
It also comes with mini fuses built in, so you can adjust capacity, and aftermarket fuses won’t dangle loose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because it’s a direct-battery relay circuit, the voltage stays stable.
The chance of side effects from tapping power from some odd spot on the bike is extremely low. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
