I sometimes wonderwhy bolt and nut tightening gets forgotten in the first place.<\/strong>
Sure, if your hands stop midway and you get distracted by something else, that’s a problem.
But to put it bluntly,
if you don’t do a preliminary tightening, you won’t forget to tightenin the first place.<\/strong>That’s what I think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

It slipped right off? Hmm, hmm, hmm? Hand-tight?
I nervously asked the customer to confirm,

Why? Because no problem has actually occurred as a result.

If you get it as tight as possible, you can sleep with peace of mind.

Actually, there are places where looseness gets you in trouble and places where it doesn’t matter.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Looseness and detachment are things you’d rather avoid, but… in terms of priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just paying attention to this really boosts safety.
The places where looseness is bad are mainly the undercarriage (front and rear brake areas) and around the handlebars.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To put it bluntly,
a cowl screw coming loose versus a caliper mounting bolt<\/strong>coming loose are completely different in significance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn’t take five minutes before delivery.<\/strong>
