First, we’ll weld the torque rod boss (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce

They brought in the stock one cut out… that’s impressive… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It catches at the step.
Should we machine the boss side? Or build up the swingarm side and surface it?
The latter is easier, so we went with building it up and surfacing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A massive structure we don’t usually tackle at our level…
What diameter tungsten was it again?…

They want a racing stand hook attached. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stabilizer position is pretty tricky.
Should we drill through the stabilizer?
Where does the axle shaft come out?

We decided the position by process of elimination(*\u00b4\u0437`) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that’s how we got a solid weld.
Is it just me, or does the welding work always seem to end right when you’re getting the hang of it (figuring out the settings)? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
