The step base threads are fixed, so I’m going to pull the base back into place with some force. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can’t just yank the step bar with force like that.

Something in front of the base will definitely bend. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

As shown in the image, I’m bolting a turned aluminum rod to the beefy aluminum base
and moving it with an inner tube.

It’s 100% brute force, but there’s no other way. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
