Battery cost-effectiveness is a tough question. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes a battery good? That’s a very difficult question.
For me, it basically comes down to two choices:

\u2022 Lithium battery <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on how you use it, either one can have a short lifespan (\u00b4\u03c1`) <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Never charging it, never starting the engine, just leaving the terminals connected\u2026
That’s the worst case, and I think the longer and more frequent the complete discharge, the sooner the battery dies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the battery’s fate, so if you’re not using the bike, at least disconnect the terminals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(*\u00b4\u0437`) Periodic replacement with an affordable gel battery is one option. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some people throw away their battery warranty card\u2014that’s unthinkable.
This applies to everything, so keep it safe (*^-^*) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if you’re going to go lithium, you should really make sure you’re getting the full benefit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lightweight, compact, and high-power\u2014so it’s perfect for a simple electrical layout.
At the same capacity, it can shrink to about a quarter of the size, so if you want a sparse look, it’s recommended.
Conversely, you could keep the stock size and increase capacity instead\u2014you could potentially add 6 to 7 amp-hours, so you can crank the starter with confidence and the ignition spark will be noticeably stronger.
Of course, you’ll also be more resistant to dead batteries.
It’s not just about going small and sparse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
