DR8EA is the standard spec plug these days, pretty rare?
JR8B, which is used in oil-cooled engines and such, is compatible, so if you’re replacing it, give that one a try~

When installing the plug, be gentle?
I’m not the type to just wrench it in right away. (Though it depends on the situation…)

Stick it into a silicone hose and turn it gently\u2014that way you don’t apply any unnecessary force, which reduces the risk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the hose is holding it, if it’s not perfectly straight and smooth, it won’t thread in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charged the battery, polished the regulator connectors, and applied copper grease. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Synchronized the carburetors and that’s where we’re stopping for today…

The fork has a halo forming, so we’ll do a fork oil change and seal replacement.
