First things first\u2014we’ll swap it out for a Pro battery (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce

Initial charging is pretty important. The bar graph was running low, belly empty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Putting leftover Shorai battery double-sided foam under the terminal nut really amps up the workability later ( *\u00b4\u8278\uff40)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll swap it out for a new one while it’s still available.

When we remove the fairings, we clean up the spots you can’t see.

This isn’t really a service or for the customer\u2014it’s actually for me.
Next time around, when we take the fairings off and I think “ugh, I don’t want to touch that,” I want to eliminate that feeling from everywhere around me.
The bike after the work won’t let us down either, I’m sure… probably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll swap in a new spark plug. Thought this alone might do it, so we took it for a test ride with just this, but the top end won’t rev… it’s going bobobobo-boboho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four-carb carburettor overhaul coming up.
We don’t do this much on this model year, but… when you do it right, time and cost balloon.
